(Adopted) Viktoria was initially seen in Mill Creek on or before Jan 25. She spent three weeks running around Everett on both sides of I-5. She then traveled 20 miles in just 24 hours to Seattle! Undoubtedly, chased by people with good intentions. 

We named her Viktoria after Viktor, another UBS rescue who ran from Everett to Seattle many years ago. 

The following week, she ran on both sides of I-5 in Seattle. UBS volunteers tracked and mapped her sightings, made big neon signs, and spent countless hours searching and responding to the area when sightings were reported to Lost Dogs of King County. 

After nearly a month, running well over 100 miles, nearly 100 reported sightings mapped and documented, and hundreds of volunteer hours during her rescue, this beautiful girl we have been calling Viktoria is finally safe! Useless Bay Sanctuary volunteers got it done! Thank you to everyone in the community who watched for her and reported sightings

Viktoria spent a long time with a UBS foster and in a board and train program to learn that humans aren’t scary and she didn’t need to escape. She has now been adopted and found her forever family!
